How to Unlock the XTEN Black Kite in Modern Warfare 2

In the latest Call of Duty title – Modern Warfare II (2022), a huge amount of attachments were released with the game. Throughout Season 1, new attachments have been released such as the XTEN Black Kite suppressor, which players have found difficult to unlock as it was unclear which weapon needed to level in order to unlock it.

Luckily, players have figured out which weapon you must over level, as many users were being shown the wrong weapons to level in the gunsmith.

How to Unlock the XTEN Black Kite Suppressor

Although many players were being told to level weapons such as the Lachmann Sub, PDSW, and the Fennec, the real weapon you must level is the FSS Hurricane, to level 16.

The maximum level displayed is currently 15, but the weapon can be leveled to 16, where you will unlock the XTEN Black Kite suppressor. The game will then display the weapon level as 16/15, but is likely to be patched to display 16/16 in the near future.

The XTEN Black Kite is a suppressor that works with sub-machine guns, such as the FSS Hurricane, PDSW, Fennec and more.

The pros of the attachment claim to increase Sound Suppression, Bullet Velocity, Recoil Smoothness, Recoil Control, and cons reduce Aim Down Sight Speed, Aim Walking Speed, and Aiming Stability.

Weapon tuning in this game however, has been designed in a strange and complex way where the sliders to increase stats such as Recoil Control are non-linear, so you may find that tuning only 75% in favor of a stat will be most optimal, as shown on the radar graph.

Alongside this, some attachments that claim to reduce stats such as Aiming Stability will in fact have a greater Aiming Stability than with no attachment at all, but this usually has a very minor impact and will not significantly affect gameplay.
