How to Tilt Your Gun in Modern Warfare 2

The latest addition to the CoD franchise, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022), has brought about many new weapons and attachments, some of which includes the Canted Vibro-Dot 7, and the 7MW Canted Laser.

By equipping the new canted lasers found in the Laser section of the gunsmith, your gun will now tilt when aiming down sights. Instead of aiming with a regular red dot sight or iron sights, you can now aim with this laser pointer, tilting your gun at an angle.

These two attachments are not accessible to all weapons however, as Sniper Rifles, Pistols, Melee Weapons, and Launchers are unable to use them. Assault Rifles, Battle Rifles, Marksman Rifles, and LMGs all use the Canted Vibro-Dot 7, and SMGs and Shotguns use the 7MW Canted Laser.

How to Unlock the Canted Vibro-Dot 7:

In order to unlock the Canted Vibro-Dot 7 laser, you must get the TAQ-56 Assault Rifle to Level 10. Luckily, the TAQ-56 is unlocked relatively early in the game at Level 19, so if you’re just starting out then it won’t take long to unlock the laser.

Below are the Pros and Cons of the Canted Vibro-Dot 7:

Pros:

+ Canted Laser Aiming
+ Aiming Stability
+ Aim Down Sight Speed
+ Sprint to Fire Speed

Cons:

– Laser Visible to Enemies
– Recoil Stabilization

How to Unlock the 7MW Canted Laser:

The 7MW Canted Laser may take a bit longer, as you have to unlock the BAS-P Submachine Gun from the Season 1 Battle Pass, found in Sector A6.

You’ll need to earn approximately 15 Battle Pass tokens in order to reach this sector in the fastest way possible, and from there you must level up the gun to Level 14.

Below are the Pros and Cons of the 7MW Canted Laser:

Pros:

+ Canted Laser Aiming
+ Aiming Stability
+ Aim Down Sight Speed
+ Sprint to Fire Speed

Cons:

– Laser Visible to Enemies
– Recoil Stabilization
