Best Signal 50 Loadout in Modern Warfare 2 – Attachments and Tuning for Multiplayer
Being on the receiving end of the Signal 50 is definitely a frustrating experience, as the gun is a one-shot kill to the chest and above at most ranges, which is expected from a sniper rifle.
What makes the Signal that much more annoying is its fire rate, allowing you to take out multiple targets before they can even think about shooting back.
In this guide we’ve created a super high ADS build coupled with high Aiming Stability, for the purpose of quickscoping and fast paced sniper gameplay.
Focus and Fast Hands are great perks for this build, as Focus reduces flinch and Fast Hands allows you to reload much quicker, eliminating a chunk of the sniper’s extensive reload time.
Below you’ll find the best attachments and tuning for the Signal 50 with explanation.
Best Signal 50 Attachments and Tuning:
In this build the attachments we’re using include:
- Optic: DF105 Reflex Sight
- Rear Grip: SA Finesse Grip
- Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
- Underbarrel: Agent Grip
- Muzzle: Vigilante Comp
The choice of optic is mostly user preference, but we’d definitely recommend giving a red dot sight a try, as it makes the Signal 50 play like a marksman rifle with the bonus of dealing huge damage. Our favorite sniper scope however is the HMW-20 Optic, which has a very clear sight picture and is easy to use when quickscoping.
Like many of the attachments in this build, the SA Finesse Grip is chosen with the purpose of maximizing Aim Down Sight Speed, obviously for the purpose of quickscoping. All rear grip options are viable with this build if tuned towards Aiming Stability and either Aim Down Sight Speed or Recoil Control.
The FSS OLE-V Laser is a great attachment to boost ADS speed without much repercussion, and because you’ll mostly be quickscoping, you won’t have to worry about giving away your position with the laser when aiming down sights.
The Agent Grip is becoming a popular choice of underbarrel on many different weapons, as it provides great Aiming Stability whilst also aiding either ADS speed or Recoil Control, depending on the tuning. Here we’ve tuned it strongly in favor of ADS speed and Aiming Stability.
For the muzzle attachment, the Vigilante Comp is a great option as it prioritizes Horizontal Recoil Control, whilst also reducing Vertical Recoil. This makes it great for multi-kills as your weapon isn’t flying drastically upwards after shooting.
