Best Kastov 762 Loadout in MW2 – Best 762 Attachments and Tuning
The Kastov 762 is generally regarded as the strongest Assault Rifle available right now due primarily due to its ridiculous damage to the head and body, allowing a two hit kill should you hit your opponents in the head.
Sites like WZ Ranked are listing the Kastov 762 as an S tier weapon for Warzone, and many Warzone 2.0 players will be experiencing the popularity of this weapon with the players found in their games.
With the right attachments, the 762 can be tuned to have such minimal recoil that as long as you’re on your target there will be no issues, alongside the great damage range of weapons on the Kastov platform.
Kastov 762 Tuning and Attachments:
This setup for the 762 is quite strong, which can be used in all modes of Call of Duty due to its versatility. The focus of this build is to have extremely low recoil with great accuracy, whilst also being effective at most distances.
The mobility and handling of the 762 do suffer slightly, although jumping and pre-aiming around corners is a solid way to counteract this.
Here are the attachments for the Kastov 762:
- Optic: Cronen Mini Pro

- Underbarrel: Lockgrip Precision-40
- Barrel: KAS-10 584MM Barrel
- Muzzle: Polarfire-S
We’ve picked the Cronen Mini Pro as our choice of optic due to its clear sight picture and low zoom, great for close to mid range encounters. The optic is entirely preference however, so this is not an essential choice.
The KTSV-RPK Factory stock is ideal as it increases Aiming Stability and Recoil Control, greatly increasing the accuracy of the 762.
Unsurprisingly the Lockgrip Precision-40 is easily the strongest underbarrel available right now due to heavy horizontal recoil reduction, making general recoil control a walk in the park. This isn’t the first time we’ve recommended the Lockgrip, which has previously featured in our M4 and Icarus-556 builds.
The KAS-10 584MM Barrel is easily the best choice for the Kastov, as it increases Damage Range, Bullet Velocity, and Recoil Control, all which cater greatly to the gun’s strong points.
Warzone 2.0 players will definitely benefit from the Polarfire-S suppressor, as it increases Damage Range and Bullet Velocity whilst also keeping your gun quiet, making it difficult for the to locate your position. This can be interchanged for multiplayer players for attachments that prioritize Horizontal Recoil Reduction.
