Best Chimera Class for Warzone 2.0 – New Best Assault Rifle
The Chimera has been a severely underrated weapon for Warzone 2 in recent times, but now that the most popular weapons like the Fennec 45 or the RPK have been nerfed, other guns are starting to come back into popularity.
This makes the Chimera a very strong option as it can now compete with the Fennec at close range, whilst also being stronger in the lower mid range.
We’ve certainly noticed how useful the Chimera can be when picking up one with a few attachments off the ground, being a very strong placeholder before buying custom weapons from the buy stations.

Best Chimera Attachments for Warzone:

Starting with an optimal attachment, the optic we’ve chosen is the Cronen Mini Pro due to its large frame and clear sight picture. This can be interchanged for any optic of your choice, or if you’re fine with iron sights another attachment such as a laser can be used instead.
Since stocks and barrels have the most impact on a weapon’s overall stats, the TRX-56 is the most optimal as it increases Aiming Stability and Recoil Control. The reduced ADS speed can be covered by other minor attachments in order to preserve close range strength.
The Bruen Flash Grip does exactly this, increasing Sprint to Fire Speed and Aim Down Sight Speed allowing the Chimera to compete with powerful SMGs at close range.
As usual for Warzone, a large magazine is required since players have up to three plates of armor, and players are downed before being fully eliminated. The 45 Round Mag is the largest available on the Chimera, so equip this to significantly aid multi target eliminations.
The Lockgrip Precision-40 has been a staple choice in underbarrels for Warzone since it significantly reduces horizontal recoil. Other alternatives include the FTAC Ripper 56, Agent Grip, and the Merc Foregrip.
