Best Lachmann-762 Loadout in Modern Warfare 2 – Attachments and Tuning for Multiplayer

The Lachmann-762 Battle Rifle is currently one of the strongest weapons in the game, allowing a two-shot kill if hitting the player in the head and the chest. In order to get the two-shot, we recommend using this weapon on single-fire mode as the fully automatic firing mode deals reduced damage to the opponents, most likely as a balancing feature.

In this guide we’ll cover the best attachments to use on the Lachmann-762 for both a close quarters high-ADS build, and a low recoil mid range build. The tuning for each of the attachments will be provided below each setup.

The rest of the class setup is completely user preference, but we recommend Double Time, Bomb Squad, Fast Hands or Focus, and Quick Fix for perks. Carrying a flashbang and a semtex (great against Riot Shields) is also a popular setup for tactical and lethal equipment.

If you’re attempting high killstreak games or want to bring one of these classes over to Warzone, then a Munitions Box is great to make sure you’re not running out of ammo.

Best Lachmann-762 Attachments – ADS Speed

Lachmann-762 High ADS Speed Build

The attachments featured in our high ADS speed build include:

  • Optic – Cronen Mini Pro
  • Stock – Lachmann 59 Factory
  • Grip – LMK64 Grip
  • Underbarrel – FTAC Ripper 56
  • Muzzle – Sakin Tread-40

Our choice of optic for this build is the Cronen Mini Pro, a very popular choice at the moment due to its clear sight picture and small circular reticle in the center. This is interchangeable for user preference however, and you can use a laser sight instead if you prefer iron sights.

The Lachmann 59 Factory is a great choice for the stock, as it improves movement stats such as Sprint, ADS, Crouch, and Aim Walking speed, whilst mildly reducing Recoil Control and Aiming Stability. This is a core attachment of the build, but can be replaced by the FT Mobile Stock for less impact on recoil.

For the rear grip, the LMK64 is optimal as it increases Sprint Speed and Aim Down Sight Speed, whilst slightly reducing recoil control. This can be replaced by the LM Cronus Grip providing Flinch Resistance, and then being tuned in favor of ADS speed.

The FTAC Ripper 56 is a very strong attachment for the underbarrel, as although it takes away from the ADS speed its recoil control allows the build to be still fast, whilst also relatively smooth at mid range. The Lockgrip Precision-40 and Merc Foregrip are two similar alternatives.

The Sakin Tread-40 acts in a very similar way to the FTAC Ripper, as it is mitigating recoil to achieve the perfect balance between ADS speed and recoil control for the most optimal build. The Bore-490 is another alternative if you prefer to prioritize Horizontal Recoil Control over Vertical.

Best Lachmann-762 Attachments – Recoil Control

Lachmann-762 Low Recoil Build

The attachments featured in our high ADS speed build include:

  • Optic – Cronen Mini Pro
  • Barrel – 15.9″ Lachmann RAPP Barrel
  • Grip – Lachmann TCG-10
  • Underbarrel – FTAC Ripper 56
  • Muzzle – Sakin Tread-40

For our low recoil build of the Lachmann-762, we use the same optic, underbarrel, and muzzle as the high ADS build, with the only difference being the tuning. The attachment choices are no longer to balance ADS anymore however, and are prioritizing recoil control.

The 15.9″ Lachmann RAPP Barrel is great at adding range to this build as it provides Bullet Velocity and Damage Range, making it not only better with recoil control, but much more dangerous at a distance. The 10.6″ LachStrike Barrel is an alternative to mitigate ADS speed reduction, if you don’t need the extra range.

As for the rear grip, we chose the Lachmann TCG-10, as it simply adds greater Recoil Control to the weapon. If you’re looking for slightly better ADS speed with this build you can equip the LMK64, or use the other two grips and tune them towards Recoil Control.
