In this quick tutorial, you will learn how to build an IndyCar-style car in Minecraft.

To start off this build, here is what you will need:

  • 2x Smooth Quartz Blocks
  • 2x Iron Trapdoors
  • 2x Redstone Torches
  • 3x White Carpets
  • 4x Black Concrete Blocks
  • 5x Smooth Quartz Slabs
  • 9x Smooth Quartz Stairs

First, place 1 smooth quartz slab to start your build

Place 2 smooth quartz stairs, facing outwards with 1 stair on either side of the quartz slab

step 3

Place 2 Black Concrete Blocks, with 1 behind each of your smooth quartz stairs

step 4

Place 1 Smooth Quartz Stair between the 2 black concrete blocks

step 5

Place 1 Smooth Quartz Slab behind your previously placed Smooth Quartz Stair

step 6

Behind each of the Black Concrete Blocks, place 2 upside down Smooth Quartz Stairs facing outwards on both sides

step 7

Place 2 Black Concrete Blocks behind both of the upside-down smooth quartz stairs you have previously placed

step 8

Place your 2 Smooth Quartz Blocks in between your previously placed upside-down smooth quartz stairs and black concrete blocks

step 9

Dig underneath your previous 2 black concrete blocks and place 1 Redstone Torch underneath both of the black concrete blocks.

step 10

Fill in the holes and place 2 Iron Trapdoors, with 1 behind each of the Black Concrete Blocks

step 11

In between the iron trapdoors, place an upside-down Smooth Quartz Stair

step 12

Above the trapdoors and stairs, place your last 3 Smooth Quartz Stairs

step 13

In front of the slabs you have just placed, place your 3 White Carpets across the black concrete blocks and smooth quartz block

step 14

Finish off the build by placing your last Smooth Quartz Stair in front of the middle White Carpet you placed before

Finishing touches

You have finished building your IndyCar! If you want to, you may go back and place extra blocks or items on the car. For example, you could replace all of the quartz and carpets with different coloured blocks and have a different colour on your Indycar, or you could place buttons, item frames, or trapdoors on the sides of your wheels to make the car look like it has custom rims. You should personalise the car and make it your own or you could leave it exactly how it is. In the slideshow below, you can see how the car would look with different settings and modifications.
