League of Legends 2021 World Championships to Take Place in Iceland

The biggest League of Legends event of the year, Worlds 2021, was announced to be taking place in Reykjavík, Iceland. Teams will face off in the Laugardalshöll sporting arena, once again able to play in-person as they did in the Mid Season Invitational, which was held in the same location. Worlds 2021 kicks off on the 5th of October, and will run until the Final on November 6.

The play-ins stage for the tournament will take place from the 5th to the 9th of October, to determine the remaining teams for the group stage, from the 11th to the 18th. After a short break Worlds will resume on the 22nd with the quarterfinals, followed by the semi-finals on the 30th, and the grand final on the 6th of November.
